Allana Ferguson bio
Allana represented Australia in the Rugby Sevens in 2013, and then a string of knee injuries left Allana to stay off the field for many years prior to making her return to rugby league. Allana's first match in the rugby league for women was in 2015. She played well against Queensland as well as representing New South Wales. Allana added radio to the roster, and makes regular appearances as part of 2GB's Continuous Call Team. In addition to her work in sport, Allana is a trained teacher. Allana Ferguson has the unique privilege of representing Australia in three different sports that include the rugby sevens (rugby league), touch and the rugby union. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos' star rugby player must end her league career due to tearing her ACL four times. She had torn the ligament at the same knee between was a teenager and a 20-year-old and following a 4th tear, it meant Ferguson's time ended. Ferguson, JILLAROOS' playmaker is removed from the team early after suffering a fourth left ACL tear. Ferguson told The Courier Mail that she had the injury while training during November. Ferguson has been the face of women's Rugby League throughout the years.
